Jaguar XKR Portfolio Following last year’s successful run of the limited edition Portfolio XKR coupe – most of which were sold out before the cars even arrived on Australian shores – comes the announcement that a second batch of Portfolio coupes is now on sale. Once again based on the XKR, the new Portfolio models come with more standard options than the regular XKR plus minor styling changes inside and out.

Portfolio-exclusive features include a unique colour called Shadow Grey, as well as 20-inch Selena rims that have a red Jaguar ‘Heritage’ centre badge. The car’s side vents are also crafted from milled aluminium. Additionally, Jaguar has teamed up with brake-specialist Alcon to create the largest and most powerful brakes ever applied to one of its cars for the new Portfolio edition.

The XKR’s 313kW supercharged V8 engine remains untouched in the new Portfolio, and is capable of the sending the coupe to an electronically controlled top speed of 250km/h and accelerating it from 0 to 100km/h in just 5.2 seconds. Drive is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic gearbox with paddle-shift operation for semi-manual mode.

Exclusive, inside and out
Setting the interior of the Portfolio XKR apart from the standard model is a new aluminium veneer trim on the dash and a metal gear lever and selector gate surround.
There are also unique tread plates with Portfolio script and leather edged carpet mats, plus charcoal leather trim with either cranberry or blue stitching.

The XKR Portfolio also features a custom surround sound system from premium audio experts Bowers and Wilkins. The set-up features high-output, low distortion Kevlar mid-range speakers and specially designed aluminium dome tweeters designed specifically for the XKR’s cabin.

Australia only receives the XKR coupe in Portfolio trim, however a convertible version is offered overseas. To underline the exclusivity of the XKR Portfolio, there will only be ten units available for sale for all of Australia. Prices start at $246,000 and the vehicles are on sale now.
